To insure that children are gaining a better appreciation and a pathway to safely and responsibly participate in the outdoor lifestyle encouraging good stewardship of our environment now and in the future.
The Vision of the National Youth Marine Alliance Initiative:
The Allied organizations shall strive to have a positive impact on the lives of children by providing increased participation in outdoor water based activities and awareness of water, as one of our greatest natural resources.
To do this we will:
- Create an immediate awareness plan and sustainable infrastructure to educate youth about outdoor recreation and environmental issues.
- Develop a single brand which the Allied Organizations can promote to the broad public resulting in increased awareness of our collective mission.
- Insure that the efforts of the Allied Organizations are designed to help all children develop with positive life skills such as respect, patience, understanding, high self-esteem and determination.
- To conduct all the affairs of the Allied Organizations in a manner that embraces diversity and creates no boundaries with regard to race, creed, gender, physical and or mental limitations or economic circumstance.
